About me
My Approach:
As a CBT therapist I work with clients on various difficulties which may have contributed to how they are feeling in the present time. This is inclusive of, but not limited to; past trauma, domestic abuse and relationship challenges. Our past experiences can profoundly affect our emotional well-being, often manifesting as depression, anxiety, low self-esteem or difficulty regulating emotions. Through my practice, I offer a compassionate space in which clients can explore these challenges and begin their journey towards healing and resilience.
My approach to CBT is deeply rooted in understanding the ways in which past experiences shape our present thoughts and behaviours. I work collaboratively with clients to identify and challenge negative thought patterns and learned behaviours that may be maintaining the presenting problem.
It is not always easy to navigate the challenges in our life alone, sometimes it can be helpful to work through these difficulties with someone who can provide a non-judgemental, supportive and validating approach. If you are experiencing any mental health difficulties, this is something we can work through together.
Reaching Out:
If you feel you are struggling with any of the problems above or just want to have an introductory meeting to see if CBT is right for you, please book an introduction call or reach out via email and we can explore this together.
