About me
My Approach:
As a CBT therapist I work with various difficulties which contribute to how someone is feeling in the present time. This is inclusive of but not limited to; past trauma, domestic abuse, low-self esteem and bereavement. Our past experiences can profoundly affect our emotional well-being, often manifesting as persistent depression or anxiety, overwhelming emotions, or a sense of hopelessness. Through my practice, I offer a compassionate space where clients can explore these challenges and begin their journey towards healing and resilience.
My approach to CBT is deeply rooted in understanding the ways in which past experiences shape our present thoughts and behaviours. I work collaboratively with clients to identify and challenge negative thought patterns that may have developed as a result of past experiences. This includes integrating trauma-informed techniques into our sessions.
It is not always easy to navigate the challenges in our life on our own, sometimes it can be helpful to be able to work through these difficulties with someone who can provide a non-judgemental, supportive and validating approach. If you are experiencing any mental health difficulties, this is something we can work through together.
Reaching Out:
If you feel you are struggling with any of the difficulties above or just want to have an introductory meeting to see if CBT is right for you, please book an introduction call or reach out via email and we can explore this together.
