A warm welcome to my profile.
I am a fully qualified Person Centred therapist who trained at the Metanoia Institute which is internationally known.
I offer counselling to both Adults and Adolescents
I have over 14 years experience of working in various settings such as local secondary schools and the NHS with people from all walks of life such as police officers, actors, teachers, stay at home parents, manual workers, city workers and long term unemployed .
Whatever it is that has brought you to this point I offer a safe haven for you to reflect and explore any thoughts and feelings that are concerning you and will work with you to find some clarity and reassurance.
You might be coming with a specific issue such as a recent break up, bereavement or work stress or there may be a few things you would like to look at, Some people come for personal development purposes a chance to reflect on their lives and make some decisions about what to do next.
If you would like to arrange an appointment I offer a 45-60 minute assessment session where you can share what has brought you to counselling and what you are hoping to get from coming .You can get a feel for how I work and we can decide whether I am the right match for you,
Some of the issues that I have worked with are
Relationship Conflicts ( including Mother-daughter )
Self-criticising ( nothing you do feels good enough)
Bereavement and Loss
Anger issues (with self or others)
Loss of direction

Please contact me if you would like to meet for an informal assessment at a mutually convenient time.
