About me
I am a fully qualified and registered psychosexual therapist. I offer psychosexual therapy and psychotherapy in Fareham, Portsmouth and London (South Kensington) for individuals and couples.
I run my private practice Wednesday - Friday alongside my work in the NHS.
I provide a safe environment and practical solutions for exploring and addressing sensitive sexual and psychological problems for individuals and couples. Psychological Issues treated: • Depression • Anxiety • Addictions • Self-acceptance • Social and relational difficulties • Survivors of physical and emotional abuse Sexual Issues treated: • Relationship difficulties • General sexual difficulties • Lack of sexual drive • Painful intercourse • Premature ejaculation • Erectile difficulties • Adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse • Survivors of d sexual abuse • Sexual addiction.
I am an integrative therapist drawing on several psychological models of therapy including psychodynamic, person-centred and cognitive behavioural approaches. Therapy is strictly confidential. You would have an initial assessment consultation where mutual suitability can be established, the issue(s) you’d like to work on can be discussed, as well as the frequency and number of sessions you might need. Any other queries you might have can also be addressed at this consultation. Typically a session is 50 minutes. Fees payable at the end of each session. Cancellation fees may be applicable.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have run a NHS county wide psychosexual service in West Sussex for the past 20 Years.
I have a BSc in Psychology (Hons) and MSc in Cognitive Psychology. A postgraduate Diploma in Counselling. A Post Graduate Diploma in psychosexual Therapy and Psychotherapy.
I have a specialist interest in addictions and their impact on relationships.
I have a specialist interest in erectile disfunction.

Additional information
Cost for therapy is £80 per session in London and £60 on the South Coast. Concessions can be negotiated for those on a low income.
