About me

It’s not always easy to reach out for support, but if you’re here, you have already taken an important first step. Perhaps you’re facing a relationship challenge, a breakup, family difficulties, a period of loss or uncertainty – or you’re struggling with anxiety, low mood, or questions around your identity and sense of self. It is important to name these to help recognise you are not alone and is part of the human life journey to experience.

Sometimes we all need a safe place to share what we’re holding, no matter what has brought you here, counselling can offer that space to pause, reflect, and begin to heal. Together, we can make sense of your experiences, uncover patterns, and find a clearer, more compassionate way forward. Within our sessions, you will have the opportunity to explore whatever feels most important for you, where you can be yourself in a calm, and understanding environment.

My approach draws on Gestalt, Person-Centred, Integrative, Cognitive and Psychodynamic therapies. This means our work together can be adapted to support what works best for you, this can look like focusing on your circumstances in the present moment, while also gently exploring how past events may still be shaping your life today. For me, real change happens when we bring awareness to our thoughts, feelings, and body, allowing us to reconnect with a more grounded and authentic sense of self.

I work with individuals and couples, offering a warm, flexible, and non-judgemental space where you can simply be yourself. My practice is grounded in compassion, authenticity, and respect for each person’s unique journey. Whether you’ve booked ahead or decided to reach out today, everyone deserves to be heard and supported, and I’ll meet you where you are, at your own pace.

Whenever the time feels right for you, I'd warmly welcome you to get in touch.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
