The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.

As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.

UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Although I work with all ages, I also have extensive  clinical experience working with people over the age of 65 years. I have worked in secondary Mental Health for 20 years. Through both personal and clinical experience  neurodiversity is of great interest, helping with feelings of isolation and not fitting into the world.

I offer sessions Day time and evening sessions Monday, Tuesday, Wednesdays & Thursdays.

I have a number of animals as pets, who will be out of sight and sound. You are welcome to meet them and if feeling very nervous, you are invited to bring your own pet (no birds please!) to keep you company or have one of my pets in the room.  They would love to see you.
