About me
Hello, and thank you for visiting my page.
Welcome and thank you for visiting my page.
I'm Sharon, i’m a BACP-registered and NCPS-accredited integrative counsellor offering warm, relational therapy for women who are ready to feel more like themselves again.
If you’ve found yourself here, perhaps you’re going through a difficult time or seeking support to make sense of what’s happening in your life. Whatever has brought you here, you’re not alone. I’m here to help.
You might be here because life feels overwhelming. Perhaps you’ve spent years putting others first, keeping it all together, or second-guessing your worth. Maybe you’ve hit a point where you just feel tired of people-pleasing, overthinking, anxiety, self-doubt, a lack of boundaries, lack of confidence or patterns you can’t quite shift. Maybe you arent sure what is wrong but you just know that something needs to change. You don't have to have it all figured out, just start where you are and we can make sense of it together.
Whatever’s brought you here, therapy can offer a gentle space to breathe, feel, and begin again at your pace.

My approach
I work integratively, drawing on a blend of therapeutic approaches including:
- Person-Centred Therapy,
- Psychodynamic Therapy,
- CBT.
My therapy style is relational and intuitive. I hold space gently, with respect for your pace and your story. I’m not here to give quick fixes, I’m here to walk alongside you as you reconnect with yourself and what matters most.
I provide a warm, non-judgemental space where you can feel heard, supported, and gently guided at your own pace. My approach is grounded in empathy and respect, with the aim of helping you reconnect with your inner strength and move toward healing in a way that feels safe and natural for you.
If you’re looking for a space to talk, need structured tools to manage anxiety, or are drawn to more creative or reflective ways of working, we’ll find the approach that best supports you.
I work in-person in Backwell, Bristol, and online. Sessions are open-ended — you can come weekly or fortnightly, for as long as you need.
I understand starting therapy can feel daunting. My approach is warm, gentle, and led at your pace. Together, we’ll build insight and develop tools to move forward with more clarity and resilience.
If something here resonates, you’re very welcome to get in touch.
Let this be your space to feel, heal, and grow.
Take lots of care,
Sharon

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations. In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
When you feel ready, I’m here. There’s no rush, no expectation—just a quiet invitation to connect. You can reach out for a connection call or simply send an email, whatever feels most comfortable. There is no commitment to book—I welcome you when you are ready.
Together, we can explore what you need and what kind of support feels right for you. Whether it’s a block of sessions, ongoing support, weekly or fortnightly meetings—or simply some space to explore whether counselling feels right for you and to check in with your readiness—you’ll be met with warmth and care.
I know that taking the first step can feel daunting. You don’t need to have all the answers. I’ll walk alongside you, gently and without judgement.
Whenever you're ready, I’d be honoured to hear from you.
Take lots of care,
Sharon
