About me
Reaching out for support takes courage, and you don’t have to face things alone. I offer a warm, confidential space for both young people and adults, where you can talk openly and feel heard.
You may be experiencing anxiety, including Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD), struggling with low self-confidence, or feeling overwhelmed and unsure where to turn. I also have particular experience supporting those affected by trauma or difficult past experiences. Having someone alongside you who listens with care and without judgement can make a real difference.
Counselling gives you the time and space to explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace. Together, we can gently make sense of what’s going on for you, find ways to cope, and help you move forward with more clarity and confidence.
I am an experienced MBACP Registered Counsellor offering integrative therapy, both in-person and online. I work in a way that is led by you, adapting each session to suit your individual needs and drawing on different approaches to support you in the most helpful way.
Before becoming a counsellor, I worked extensively with children, adolescents and adults in investigative and multi-agency settings, supporting those affected by abuse and complex situations. This has given me a strong understanding of how life experiences can impact emotional wellbeing, which I bring into my counselling work with sensitivity and care.
In our sessions, you will be at the heart of the work. Your experiences matter, and you will be met with warmth, understanding and respect. Whether you are looking to ease anxiety, build self-confidence, work through difficult experiences, or focus on personal growth, I will walk alongside you at your pace.
If you’d like to explore whether I might be the right therapist for you, you’re very welcome to get in touch.
Sessions are £40 per 50 minutes.
My practice
I offer in-person session in a comfortable, private therapy room in Wokingham.
I also work online using either Zoom, Facetime or WhatsApp video call.
What to expect from your first session
Finding the right therapist for you is vital, therefore, if required, I am able to offer a no obligation initial 15 minute consultation at no charge. This will give you an idea of how I work and a feel as to whether or not you feel comfortable with me.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
