Hi, I'm Shannon. I have 15 years experience as a registered Clinical Psychologist (HCPC) and 20 years experience in the mental health field. Whether you are a busy working mum struggling to juggle your responsibilities, trying to heal from past trauma, going through a difficult life transition, or experiencing relationship difficulties, a safe, discreet and validating therapeutic space can provide an opportunity to overcome your difficulties, develop strategies to help you cope better and, ultimately, thrive!

During my career, I have developed skills in using therapeutic approaches such as Internal Family Systems, Schema Therapy, EMDR, Gottman Method and Psychodynamic Therapy.
I tend to integrate a variety of approaches in my treatment planning.
I have completed specialist training in the following approaches:

- The Gottman Method Couples Counselling (Level 1 & 2)
- Schema Therapy (Standard & Advanced)
- EMDR (Parts 1,2,3 & 4)
I have also obtained a Corporate and Executive Coaching diploma through The Coaching Academy and am certified to offer DISC assessments.

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
