About me
Life can feel tricky at times - a bit heavier, and potentially difficult to navigate. I believe that each individual is deserving of support, and sometimes when our past or current experiences are clouding our lives, we need a warm, accepting space to slow down, be listened to, reflect and make sense of what is going on.
As a person-centred counsellor, I put you (the client) at the heart of this process. I believe therapy is most effective and helpful when you feel safe, take things at your own pace, and are genuinely understood and accepted. Therapy provides a space for you to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences alongside curiosity, empathy and compassion.
Maybe you've been experiencing some relationship stresses, with a current or ex-partner, or your family or friends. A past history of experiencing violence and/or abuse may be rearing its head, that requires some processing. You may be experiencing low self-worth, and wanting to explore more of what makes you, 'you' - looking at your identity, your neurodivergence, your interactions within the world, your life transitions. There may be academic pressures, and feelings of guilt, shame, anxiety, and pressure.
Whatever you are facing right now, you don't have to navigate it alone. Whatever you are experiencing, you deserve a space where you can talk openly. If my approach resonates with you, I invite you to get in touch so we can discuss what kind of support you are looking for, and see whether we feel like a good fit to work together.
I offer a free initial consultation, giving you the opportunity to ask me any questions, tell me a bit about you and your story, and get to know me a bit too to explore whether we're the right fit.
Whenever you're ready, I'll be here to listen.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
