About me
"Feeling Confused, Stuck or Overwhelmed? Is now the time to find your way forward?"
"Curious how your past informs your present?"
Navigating life when you're healing from past trauma, battling persistent anxiety, struggling with the weight of depression, navigating the pain of grief, or wrestling with self-esteem can feel like you're lost without a map. Taking that first brave step to seek support is a powerful act of self-investment.
Consider this: what if you didn't have to continue carrying this burden alone? My purpose as a BACP accredited counsellor is to provide you with the compassionate space and the support you need to process your experiences. Many of my clients report finding relief and clarity, enabling them to build resilience and move forward with confidence.
My Integrative Approach: Supporting Your Unique Journey
As we work together, you'll discover a unique space where you can explore your past and present experiences. My integrative approach means our sessions will adapt precisely to your evolving needs, helping you understand your experiences, thoughts, and feelings in ways you haven't fully recognized before.
Uncovering hidden patterns and thinking errors often requires an objective, supportive perspective. Just as you can't see your own reflection without a mirror, certain aspects of your inner world remain out of view. My ongoing role is to provide the safe environment for this essential self-reflection, supporting you through:
- Compassionate Connection: A non-judgmental space where you can truly explore your challenges without fear, feeling heard and understood throughout your journey.
- Tailored Expertise: Leveraging over 10 years and 3,000 hours of experience, my integrative approach draws from various proven therapeutic methods to build and adapt a unique support plan that fits your specific, evolving needs and goals.
- Practical Strategies: Beyond theory, my work provides you with a diverse toolkit of evidence-based strategies, heavily influenced by Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), empowering you to create genuine and lasting change in your daily life.
- Clearer Thinking: I support you in identifying and transforming unhelpful thought processes and feelings that hold you back, helping you gain crucial insight into the "thinking errors" or cognitive biases that color your perceptions.
- Empowered Emotional Management: Through our work, you'll develop the essential skills to manage your emotions effectively and navigate life's challenges with greater ease, continually building your resilience.
This collaborative process is designed to empower you to not just cope, but to truly thrive.
Your First Step is a Simple Conversation-I know that reaching out can feel daunting. That's why I offer a free, no-obligation 20-minute telephone consultation.
This pre-assessment is the perfect opportunity for you to ask any questions, discuss what you're hoping to achieve, and get a feel for my practice to ensure it feels like the right fit for you.

My practice offers confidential and supportive psychological services for individuals grappling with pervasive mental patterns like worry, rumination, brooding, and excessive overthinking.
