About me
As a male counsellor myself, I find that most of my work is with men, and in particular men facing issues such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, ADHD, ADD, and suicidal thoughts. Relationships is another area that comes up a lot, and as I also work as a couple counsellor, I am able to bring that experience into my individual counselling too.
I'm also delighted to work with women, and it is often my male perspective or approach which appeals in these cases. I love working with young people (aged 18+) and supporting them in navigating life's many challenges.
My diverse life experiences shape my counselling approach. As a father of four I have many years of parenting - with all of it's challenges - behind me, and lots of experience in working through difficulties in my relationships too. I have also experienced all the joy that comes with parenthood and relationships!
As an entrepreneur, I have founded and managed various businesses. My career began as an accountant working in an investment bank, but I soon left that behind to start my own business in Spain, a change that has lead to many other journeys in my business life.
Having personally endured bullying, depression, anxiety, panic attacks, and relationship breakdowns, I have found my way through these struggles, leading me to a career in counselling.
My aim now is to offer the same valuable support that I received over the years from numerous individuals and groups.
If you believe I can assist you, please feel free to reach out. There is no pressure or obligation.
Core Values
I am committed to fostering safety through connection, compassion, and care. I aim to empower individuals of all ages to understand themselves, take control of their lives, and discover a deeper sense of purpose and contentment.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
