About me

Leeds City Centre | Online | Phone

Free 30 min consultation | Sessions £70 per 55 minutes.

My approach is down-to-earth, warm and inclusive. I’m not a ‘blank slate’ therapist - I won’t sit in silence. I respect that therapy is a significant investment of your time, money and energy, so you can expect that I’ll be invested in you and your journey.

You don't need to know what isn't feeling right, and you especially don't need to feel like what you're experiencing isn't 'bad' enough. Therapy is for everyone.

The most important thing to me is that you feel seen, heard and welcomed for exactly who you are right now, so you don’t have to leave any part of yourself outside the room.

I am neurodiversity-affirming, LGBTQIA+ friendly and work with gender, sex and relationship diversity.

Availability March 2025: I currently have availability straight away on Tuesday at 1pm or Wednesday at 12pm.

Training, qualifications & experience

  • Diploma in Integrative and Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy
  • Diploma in Integrative and Transactional Analysis Psychotherapeutic Counselling
  • Diploma in Rape and Sexual Abuse Counselling
  • NCPS Accredited | UKCP Registered | Enhanced DBS Certificate

I found my love for therapy through seeking it out for myself, so I know how hard it is to get started, but also how transformative it can be.

I trained for 4 years to become a psychotherapist, which included having my own weekly personal therapy throughout.

I have over 15 years experience working in the world of mental health and therapy. I spent most of this time as a service manager within residential therapeutic services, NHS Talking Therapy (IAPT) and Primary Care Mental Health. Alongside running these services, I supervised therapists, mental health nurses, psychological wellbeing practitioners, mental health support workers and clinical managers.

Before this, I enjoyed working as a mental health support worker, and as a counsellor at a low-cost counselling service and a specialised sexual abuse counselling service.

I now work with individuals to help them find their most peaceful and fulfilling lives, in the right way for them, for however long they need.

You are very welcome to get in touch to book a free 30-minute consultation to talk about what’s been happening and how we could work together.

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a Counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the Counsellor to discuss the options available.
