About me
Hello, my name is Sarah. I’m a qualified & professional counsellor and psychotherapist. I’m fully insured, DBS checked & registered with NCPS (National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society). If you are visiting my profile, then maybe life has brought up some difficulties which are challenging for you to cope with. I work in an empathic and non-judgemental way to support you to make sense of what you are going through. Seeking therapy is the first step in beginning the process of achieving your goals and improving your wellbeing.
I believe self-awareness is powerful and holds the key to finding unconscious answers. I work in a person-centred way, which means that I work alongside you, introducing different methods and psycho-education to help you to understand yourself and your situation better. I have specific experience In working with trauma survivors and mental health issues.
I understand that choosing the right counsellor for you is important & have your best interests at heart.

As well as private practice, I volunteer for a local charity and have also worked in supportive roles working with mental health issues, addiction and homelessness.

I am available for face-to-face, online or over the telephone. The rate is £60 for 50 minutes.

I offer a free, no obligation telephone appointment. This is an informal chat to give you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have and to explore your goals a little more.
If either of us feel that this is not suitable for you then I will support you in the right direction. However, if you do decide to go ahead, we can arrange a suitable time and day for weekly sessions. I can offer short or long term therapy.
