About me
Are you ADHD, Autistic or AuDHD (diagnosed, self-diagnosed or exploring) and constantly holding everything together while feeling overwhelmed underneath?
You may look like you’re coping on the outside, while internally feeling burnt out, emotionally flooded, exhausted, anxious, or disconnected from yourself.
I specialise in counselling for neurodivergent adults and young people (13+) who are struggling with overwhelm, masking, emotional exhaustion, difficult relationships, trauma, or the long-term impact of feeling misunderstood.
Many of the clients I work with have spent years people-pleasing, overthinking, masking, or trying to cope alone. Therapy can become a space where things finally begin to make sense.
I am a BACP registered counsellor with a background in social work, mental health, and working in secondary schools. I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work, a BA (Hons) in Child and Adolescent Studies, and specialist trauma-informed counselling training.
Alongside professional experience, I also bring lived experience of neurodivergence and trauma.
I offer online counselling throughout the UK for adults and young people aged 13+.
Who I work with
I specialise in working with
• ADHD, Autism and AuDHD
• Teenagers and young people (13+)
• Burnout and emotional overwhelm
• Masking and people-pleasing
• Anxiety and emotional dysregulation
• Childhood trauma and attachment wounds
• Difficult family relationships and narcissistic parental abuse
• Identity, self-worth and relationship difficulties
• Highly sensitive or emotionally intense experiences
• Late-diagnosed or exploring neurodivergence
Many of my clients have spent years feeling “too much”, “not enough”, emotionally exhausted, or deeply misunderstood. You do not need a diagnosis to work with me.
My approach
My approach is warm, direct, neurodivergent-affirming, and trauma-informed.
I offer a space where you can speak openly without needing to mask, over-explain, or minimise your experience.
Together, we work to understand patterns, reduce overwhelm, process difficult experiences, and build a more compassionate relationship with yourself.
This may include exploring:
• Emotional overwhelm, shutdown, or burnout
• Attachment patterns and relationship dynamics
• The impact of childhood experiences
• Nervous system regulation and emotional safety
• Identity, self-worth, and boundaries
• Coping patterns that no longer serve you
I work with your brain and nervous system, not against them.
Session Frequency
I usually recommend starting with weekly sessions, as this provides consistency and helps us build a strong therapeutic relationship.
Weekly sessions often support deeper understanding and more meaningful progress.
If appropriate, some clients choose to move to less frequent sessions later on.
Practicalities & booking
Reaching out for counselling can feel daunting, especially if you’ve been coping alone or feeling misunderstood for a long time.
You are very welcome to get in touch in whatever way feels easiest - by email, text or phone, to ask questions or arrange an initial session.
There’s no pressure or expectation, just an opportunity to see whether working together feels right for you.
I offer online therapy for neurodivergent adults and young people age 13+ throughout the UK.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
