About me

Sometimes it can feel like it's impossible to find your place in the world, that things that you feel should feel easy, feel like a giant challenge. It may be that previous trauma, refuses to go away. Or maybe, you just can't muster the energy or motivation to feel excited about things and instead anxiety or emptiness feel more familiar. These experiences can make it feel very difficult to function and things I don't believe any person should have to live with. Embarking on personal therapy can help address all these difficulties, and others, so you are able to live a life that offers you a sense of fulfilment and value.

As a Counselling Psychologist, I offer a warm, thoughtful, and collaborative space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace. My approach is integrative and tailored to you as an individual, drawing on evidence-based methods including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), and EMDR. I aim to support you in developing self-understanding, resilience, and meaningful change, whether you're facing current challenges or working through past experiences. Together, we can find ways forward that feel authentic and sustainable for you.

I help people with anxiety, low mood, trauma, and feeling stuck. I tailor therapy to you, supporting self-understanding, processing difficult experiences, and building a more compassionate, values-led life. Our work is collaborative, practical, and focused on what matters to you.

I understand how overwhelming it can feel when anxiety, low mood, trauma, or feeling stuck start to take over your life. You don’t have to navigate this alone. I offer a warm, collaborative space to support healing and change. If you're ready, I welcome you to reach out.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a qualified Counselling Psychologist. This means I take a holistic approach to practice that prioritises the therapeutic relationship. I have completed training in Cognitive behaviour therapy, Acceptance and commitment therapy, compassion-focused therapy, and EMDR. I appreciate these acronyms may be confusing, so I am happy to talk through these in more detail on a free introductory call.

I have a range of experience working with all ages. I have worked in both public and private roles in both Australia and the UK. Including supporting adults who have experienced sexual abuse and trauma, parents of children with life-limiting and life-changing diagnoses, and young adults with anxiety and depression. I also have extensive experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and their families, helping them make adaptations to best support their families' needs. I also tailor my own way of working to best meet the individual's needs, for example, taking more of a creative approach.
