About me

How I can help you

Life brings different phases, challenges and changes. Sometimes these can leave you questioning who you are, what’s important, and how to feel happier. You’re not on your own.

I’ll work alongside you, guiding you to explore what’s troubling you, so you can understand your concerns more fully and recognise how and why they affect you.

Through a process of compassionate curiosity, we’ll gently unpack what you're thinking and feeling, helping you develop a deeper understanding of yourself, and guiding you to find the answers within you. So that you can find greater clarity and confidence in navigating whatever has brought you to counselling.

Talking with a trained mental health practitioner, someone outside your day-to-day life, in a quiet space free from distractions, offers a valuable opportunity to focus on your wellbeing.

I’m a Bristol based NCPS registered integrative counsellor, offering therapy in person (BS3, BS1) online and outdoors. I have a particular interest in supporting others with ADHD and navigating mid-life transitions.

My approach

Integrative: I combine different counselling approaches and techniques, so your therapy is unique to you, and what you want from counselling.

Affirming: My approach is warm, down-to-earth, honest and jargon-free. Our therapeutic relationship is an equal, collaborative partnership where you can feel heard, understood and met with compassion and respect.

Collaborative: I’m an active part of your therapy. Alongside listening and reflection, I may offer gentle challenge and thoughtful questions to help you explore unhelpful patterns and discover more empowering perspectives.

Where helpful, I also use creative techniques such as drawing, writing, visualisation and worksheets, as well as insights from nature.

Mind and body: As an embodied practitioner, I pay attention to what’s happening in both your mind and body, recognising how your thoughts, emotions and physical sensations are interconnected.

For example, by noticing butterflies in your stomach, shallow breathing or muscle tension, we can appreciate how feelings and emotions show up in your body, and explore ways to help you feel calmer.

Who I work with

I work with adults at all stages of life who are experiencing challenges, uncertainty or personal change.

You might be processing a difficult experience, struggling with low self-esteem, feeling overwhelmed by anxiety or trying to change unhelpful patterns. Perhaps you’re feeling confused about your feelings or unsure of your next steps. Whatever you’re facing, we can unpack it together.

Training, qualifications & experience

Level 4 Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling.

Having received an ADHD diagnosis later in life myself, I have an interest in supporting others to thrive with ADHD and navigate life transitions, including changes associated with hormones.

Mid-life can be a particularly challenging life stage. Bringing with it, health concerns, hormone changes, caring for elderly parents and children, divorce, children leaving home, bereavement, shifts in personal identity, and questions about how we want to spend our later years. I'm passionate about supporting others with this complicated life phase.

Alongside my private practice, I work with clients at New Dawn CIC and Bristol Mind.
