About me
Are you feeling overwhelmed, anxious, stuck in old patterns, or disconnected from yourself or others? If so, you are not alone, and support is available.
How I work: As a qualified integrative counsellor I use Gestalt Therapy, mindfulness practises and the Polyvagal Theory, to offer a safe and supportive space where you can begin to explore what’s happening in your life and how it’s affecting you. My approach is holistic, which means we work with your mind, body, and emotions to support meaningful, lasting change.
Gestalt Therapy focuses on increasing awareness of your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours in the present moment. Together, we explore what’s going on for you right now, helping you understand your patterns and how they may be shaped by past experiences. With this understanding, you can make conscious choices that support your well-being and personal growth.
The Polyvagal Theory brings in a deeper understanding of the nervous system. If you’ve ever felt anxious, shut down, or triggered without knowing why, this approach can help. It supports you in recognising how your body responds to stress and gives you tools to feel safer, calmer, and more connected—both to yourself and to others.
This integrative method can be especially helpful for those dealing with anxiety, trauma, addiction, grief, relationship challenges, or anyone seeking greater self-awareness and emotional balance.
Each session is tailored to your unique needs and moves at a pace that feels right for you. You’ll be met with compassion, respect, and practical guidance as we work together toward healing and connection.
You don’t have to face this alone. Reach out today to take the first step toward feeling more grounded, empowered, and at ease.
Services Offered:
- In-person counselling at my therapy room in Sandwich, Kent.
- Online via Zoom or Google meet. This can still incorporate many of the creative aspects of in-person therapy, but from the convenience of your own environment.
- Walk and Talk Therapy. This offers you the opportunity for in-person contact in the open air. This may be walking, or sitting together in outside spaces. This is particularly beneficial for those that enjoy being in nature and prefer an alongside speaking position as opposed to face to face.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
