About me

I am a qualified, integrative counsellor and accredited member of NCPS. You might be thinking of coming to counselling for many different reasons and the decision to come is not always an easy one. I can offer you a supportive, non-judgemental and safe space when you are finding life difficult in order for you to explore and make sense of what you are feeling; a calm space for you to feel listened to and heard.

I have experience of working with clients from many different backgrounds, and life experiences and with diverse lifestyles. Clients come to see me for many different reasons including: anxiety and panic attacks, depression, low self-esteem, trauma related distress, domestic abuse, bereavement, relationship or work stress.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am an experienced Counsellor (Dip Couns.) and an Accredited member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (MNCPS (Acc.). I trained and qualified in Cambridge as an Integrative Humanistic (person-centred) counsellor, so I combine talking therapy with other techniques and approaches where appropriate. I have worked with young people and adults in a number of organisations and charities in higher education, schools and community projects.

I offer short or long-term private counselling for adults online or face-to-face in Sawbridgeworth (Herts) and the surrounding area.
