About me

Are you feeling overwhelmed, sad, lost, stuck or misunderstood?

I support people who are overwhelmed and trying to understand themselves better. Through our sessions we explore a realistic but compassionate path forward. I know how overwhelming or disorienting life can feel—whether you’re coping with bereavement, navigating a separation/divorce, or simply trying to exist in a world that doesn’t always seem to “get” you.

I have experience supporting adults and young adults (16+) who are processing a neurodivergent diagnosis (such as ADHD, Autistic, AuDHD). It’s important to me that you feel seen, heard, and supported as you make sense of your experiences in the past and find a way to move forward.

Together, we’ll work at a pace that feels comfortable for you—focusing on understanding, acceptance and working through difficult issues. I work in an integrative way, which means that I can support you in a variety of ways such as offering coping strategies and tools for how to manage difficult thoughts and feelings.

I work from a place of acceptance and understanding before exploring how to move forward.

My clients have said that my approach is warm and professional and that they feel seen and understood during our sessions.

If you are ADHD, Autistic, AuDHD:

I work with a neuro-affirmative approach which means that my sessions are adapted  to my clients individual needs; factoring in sensory preferences, language processing -using clear words, no jargon, minimal eye contact, creative and visual preferences , rejection sensitivity (RSD), task paralysis, alexithymia, to list a few.  My support is through a neurodivergent lens and we work together in a way that; reframes past experiences, accepts how our brains work and offers practical coping strategies for areas that you struggle with. ADHD, Autistic, AuDHD is my passion and I invest my spare time in additional training to ensure that I am offering best practice to my clients.

If you are suffering with anxiety:

We explore where and when the anxiety occurs and develop practical coping strategies that are realistic for you and simple to practice.

If you are suffering a loss:

Loss isnt just bereavement -  it can be loss of a relationship, job loss, relocation or loss of identity. I have extensive training in grief and loss and offer support to understand whats happening for you and to explore how to move forward.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Further information

I’m committed to gently supporting clients who feel overwhelmed, broken, or stuck, offering a calm, grounding space where they can move entirely at their own pace—one that feels safe and manageable. Sometimes our work involves slowly and compassionately exploring the roots of what’s holding them back; other times it means setting meaningful goals together and building strategies that feel steady, supportive, and achievable. Wherever the journey leads, my intention is to create a therapeutic experience that honours each person’s timing, resilience, and unique capacity for growth.
