About me
I’m a qualified and registered person-centred counsellor and I’m passionate about supporting younger women to feel more confident in themselves. I believe you have the answers within, and I can support you with low self-esteem, anxiety, depression and relationship difficulties. We can do this together by building a trusting therapeutic relationship, which can then positively impact on your relationship with yourself and others. I can also support you with relationship endings, managing grief and setting boundaries with others.
As a mama myself, most of my practice focuses on supporting new mums navigate the postpartum journey through motherhood, as well as pre-pregnancy and pregnancy challenges. I understand how beautiful, yet incredibly challenging motherhood can be, and you don’t have to go through it alone. You deserve support, and together we can navigate these anxieties so you can feel like yourself again.
As a previous trainee therapist, I’m also passionate about supporting other trainee therapists and students manage stress and develop self-care. You're not just a student and I see how hard you're working!

I have over 16 years experience working within educational settings, which has been a fundamental part of learning to use counselling skills with young adults and children. This includes the role of a nursery nurse, pre-school teacher, teaching assistant and nanny. I have always loved working with children and their families, which led me to becoming a nanny! Working as a nanny for 7 years allowed me to develop strong relationships with children, young adults and their families. This is where my career as a counsellor began, as I was passionate about supporting others one-to-one. I felt the person-centred approach was really suited to the skills I have to offer and developing the therapeutic relationship.
Alongside my private practice, I have worked for a breast cancer charity, in particular supporting younger women. This involved supporting those who have recently been diagnosed with breast cancer, to adjust and adapt to a life-limiting illness. I have a particular interest in supporting younger women and would love to hear from you if you’ve been considering counselling.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
