About me

Are you feeling overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally exhausted, or struggling to cope with the pressures of everyday life? Perhaps your mind feels constantly busy with worry, you find yourself overthinking, feeling low, lacking confidence, or putting everyone else’s needs before your own. You may have experienced loss, be facing difficult life changes, or simply have a sense that something doesn’t feel quite right. Whatever has brought you here, you do not have to face it alone.

I understand that reaching out for support can feel like a big step, and finding the right counsellor is important. My priority is to offer a warm, safe, and nurturing space where you can feel comfortable being yourself — a place where you feel heard, understood, and accepted without judgement.

As a person-centred integrative counsellor, I believe that you are the expert in your own life. I work collaboratively with adults, children, and young people, tailoring therapy to your individual needs while building a trusting relationship at a pace that feels right for you.     My approach allows us to gently explore your experiences, thoughts, and feelings together, helping you gain greater self-awareness, develop healthier coping strategies, and create meaningful change.

I support clients experiencing a range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, loss and bereavement, self-esteem challenges, emotional difficulties, and life transitions. Whether you are feeling stuck, struggling with relationships, or wanting to better understand yourself, counselling can provide the opportunity to reflect, heal, and move forward.

I am a registered member of the BACP and hold a Level 4 Diploma in Counselling. I believe everyone deserves a space where they feel valued and supported, and I would be honoured to walk alongside you on your journey.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
