Hi I’m Sarah. I am a fully qualified counsellor working in the Huddersfield area.
I work with people from all backgrounds on a whole range of issues such as anxiety, depression, bereavement, loss, low self-esteem and trauma.
Sometimes it’s hard to find someone to give us the listening ear we need. We might feel that we’re burdening friends and family or that we might be judged.
I can offer you a safe, confidential, non-judgmental space where we can explore together the steps along your life journey that have brought you to where you are today.
I will listen and support you along the way and help you to find the answers and strategies for change that are right for you.
Having been on the receiving end of counselling in the past, I know how important it is to find the right person to work with. That's why I offer a free initial 50 minute consultation during which we can discuss your concerns and decide together whether we want to move forward into regular counselling.
You can contact me by email on email@example.com or by phone on 07875672201.
Looking forward to hearing from you!

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
