About me

Hello and welcome. I understand that asking for help can feel overwhelming, but life can be hard and there are times we may need some support to help us through.

I specialise in a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, loss, trauma, relationship issues, and life transitions. I aim to help you build resilience, enhance coping strategies, and encourage personal growth and understanding. I also support trainee counsellors who struggle with self-doubt and confidence.

There are many reasons people seek therapy. Perhaps you have experienced a loss and you're finding it hard to make sense of it, maybe you are struggling to get out of bed each day and wondering what the point of it all is. You might not know who the real you is, or find it hard to be yourself around other people. I will take time to listen to you and understand what challenges you are facing and what you may wish to gain from counselling. Together, we will explore your hopes and aspirations. As an Integrative therapist, I am committed to understanding your unique perspective and needs. Together we can explore what has contributed to you seeking help.

I work online and face-to-face, offering short and long-term therapy. I offer a secure space in which we can explore together any difficulties you might be facing.

I am an Accredited member of the British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (MBACP, Accred) and abide by their ethical framework.

An initial telephone or Zoom conversation is an opportunity for us to explore working together, and for you to see if you would like to work with me in the future. I work in my rooms in South West London, including Twickenham, Teddington, Richmond and Kingston, all with easy access to public transport.

The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
