About me
Reaching out to someone for the first time can feel overwhelming, and I completely understand how much courage that takes. I know from my own counselling journey just how scary, exhausting, and lonely it can feel to carry feelings that seem too heavy to share with the people closest to you.
When everything feels overwhelming, it can be hard to imagine opening up at all. I offer a warm, confidential and non judgemental space where you can gently explore those feelings in a safe space at your own pace.
Whatever you’re coping or struggling with, trying to work out, or even if you just feel stuck, I’m here to listen with compassion and I will support you in exploring your thoughts and feelings to help you to work through life's challenges at your own pace.
My approach
I am a qualified experienced integrative counsellor and I work with individuals aged 18 and over, both face to face and online. I work in an integrative way, which simply means I draw on different counselling theories and approaches rather than using one single method, so our sessions can be best suited to you as an individual.
You may be living with loss, anxiety or depression, you maybe feeling the impact of painful past experiences, and finding yourself feeling stuck or overwhelmed. Perhaps you’re facing relationship changes, family difficulties, ADHD, menopause, or other mid-life challenges that leave you feeling sad, lost, or unsure of yourself. If you are experiencing low self-esteem or self-confidence I can offer you time and space where you can feel at ease to talk about anything that is on your mind. I will listen deeply and support you in reconnecting with your inner strengths to find a way forward.
Therapy can be short, medium or long term and you may decide to end therapy at any time.
Areas I can support individuals with include with anxiety, addiction, anger, loss and bereavement, family issues, depression, low self esteem, separation, divorce, work or career related issues, trauma, panic or a sense of feeling stuck.
Next steps
You don’t have to go through this journey alone. Please get in touch with me and I'll be happy to offer a free 15 minute telephone call to see whether you feel you would like to go ahead and let’s work side by side to create the life you hope for.
Please check your spam/junk inboxes as sometimes my email replies can be there instead of your inboxes!

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
