About me
We all have times in our lives when we struggle, if you are experiencing one of these times, maybe now feels like the right time to reach out for help to find your way through. I have been where you are now and it was through finding a supportive counsellor, that gave me the space to really be heard, that led to my journey into becoming a counsellor myself.
Asking for help is a major step, but from personal experience the ability to express my thoughts and feelings to somebody outside my immediate network has helped me process the events in my life and make meaningful changes which have not only helped me but those around me.
Our journeys, experiences and life events are all different but if you feel the time is right for you to express yourself then please reach out to me for an initial 20 minute-ish call so we can establish if we can gel as people and that I am the right counsellor for you.
I offer in person, online (Zoom) and phone call sessions and have availability to hopefully fit in with your lifestyle and the demands on you, including weekends and evenings. My first session is always charged at a £40 fee as we use this session to get to know each other properly as well as some contractual stuff that I must do as a counsellor as part of the ethical framework that we all work under.
For in person sessions, I work from an established therapy centre in Lymm, which is a comfortable and safe space for us to focus on how I can assist you. It is easily accessible from Warrington, Altrincham, Hale, Bowden and Sale plus surrounding areas and has free parking available.
If you think the time is right, then please message be via the directory so we can arrange a initial consultation and thank you for taking this first step.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
