About me

Are you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of how to move forward? You don’t have to face it alone.

I am a qualified person-centred, humanistic counsellor offering a warm, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you can explore whatever is going on for you at your own pace. I believe that each person has the capacity for growth and change, and my role is to walk alongside you as you make sense of your experiences and reconnect with yourself.

I offer both in-person and online counselling for adults, providing flexibility to suit your needs and lifestyle.

You might be seeking support for anxiety, depression, bereavement, relationship difficulties, or struggles with self-esteem, or perhaps something harder to put into words. Whatever brings you here, you will be met with empathy, respect, and genuine understanding.

My approach is rooted in person-centred values, which means I will not direct or judge you, but instead support you in finding your own clarity, resilience, and way forward. Together, we can work towards helping you feel more grounded, self-aware, and empowered to make meaningful changes in your life.

I hold a BSc (Hons) in Psychology (2:1), which underpins my understanding of human behaviour and emotional wellbeing.

Taking the first step can feel daunting, but it can also be the beginning of something transformative. If you’re ready to start your journey, I would be here to support you in a safe, confidential space.

Please message me if you have any questions :)

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a qualified counsellor, having completed Level 2, Level 3 and Level 4 training in counselling. I am also currently undertaking Level 5 training, developing my skills to work therapeutically with children and young people.

Alongside my counselling qualifications, I hold a BSc (Hons) in Psychology (2:1), which supports my understanding of mental health, emotional wellbeing, and human behaviour.

I have over three years’ experience working with North Kent Mind, where I continue to support clients with a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties.

In addition, I volunteered with the Shout crisis text service, where I provided immediate emotional support to individuals in distress. During this time, I completed over 200 hours of crisis support, working with people experiencing a variety of challenges including anxiety, low mood, and overwhelming situations.

These experiences have enabled me to work confidently and compassionately with a diverse range of clients, always providing a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
