About me
You might be used to putting others first, even when it leaves you feeling drained or overlooked.
Perhaps you struggle to say no, overthink your relationships, or feel like you’re “too much” or not enough at the same time. You may look like you’re coping on the outside, but inside feel anxious, overwhelmed, or disconnected from yourself.
Some of the people I work with have also experienced difficult or painful past events, including emotional, physical, or sexual abuse, and may be trying to understand how this continues to affect them in the present.
I offer a space where you can begin to explore these experiences at your own pace. Together, we can gently make sense of patterns such as people-pleasing, self-doubt, or difficulty setting boundaries, and work towards helping you feel more grounded, more connected to yourself, and more able to make choices that feel right for you
My approach is person-centred, meaning I won’t direct or pressure you, but will work alongside you in a supportive and understanding way. I aim to offer a space where you feel heard, accepted, and not judged, where you don’t have to hold everything together.
My interest in this work comes not only from my training, but also from personal experience, so I understand how difficult it can be to open up, trust someone, or even take that first step.
I offering online sessions, as well as in-person sessions where available.
If you’re unsure whether therapy is right for you, you’re very welcome to get in touch for an informal chat
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling.
I have experience as a volunteer with survivors of domestic violence at Safer Places, where I supported clients through some deeply challenging transitions. My passion for helping women stems from my own experiences at a young age, which have shaped my understanding of trauma, resilience, and the importance of being truly heard.
