About me
Hello and welcome!
Does life feel overwhelming right now?
Maybe you notice yourself repeating patterns that no longer serve you, or putting yourself down despite your best efforts. You might be struggling in relationships, finding it hard to set boundaries, or carrying guilt and shame shaped by family, cultural, or personal expectations. You may also be carrying the weight of unresolved past experiences or trauma that continues to affect how you feel about yourself and relate to others.
I work with people experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, loss or low self-esteem. Often, my clients feel stuck, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward, even though they are doing everything they can to cope.
In our work together, I offer a space to slow things down and begin to understand not just what you’re feeling, but why. I combine a person-centred, compassionate approach with deeper exploration of patterns and relationships, helping you build self-awareness, self-trust, and more choice in how you live your life. Where appropriate, I may also introduce tools to help you manage difficult emotions.
Many people I work with feel they must “hold it all together.” This can be especially true for men, who may have learned to stay strong and keep emotions hidden. Here, there is space to let that guard down, safely, and without judgement.
I am Sandrine, a BACP-registered integrative and trauma-trained therapist. As a mixed Black woman originally from France who has lived in the UK for over 30 years, offer a restorative, culturally sensitive space where your lived experiences are genuinely understood.
Clients often describe me as a "steady guide" - warm, curious, and grounded. I offer a confidential space where you can let your guard down and gain the insights needed for lasting change.
I provide online therapy for clients, as well as face-to-face sessions in King's Cross and Fitzrovia.
What clients say:
“Sandrine brings humanity, wisdom, and heart to the healing process.” - Andrew
“Your aura radiates calm and kindness. The clouds have lifted, and I have found the strength to move forward.” - Meera
If I am the right fit, I look forward to working with you.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

A Culturally Sensitive Space As a mixed Black woman originally from France, I have a deep understanding of how our backgrounds, including race, culture, and nationality, shape our mental health. I offer a space where these parts of your identity are not only welcomed but respected. I am a native French speaker and can conduct therapy in French if you prefer.
A Trauma-Informed Approach I hold a Certificate in Trauma Therapy. This means I work with an awareness of how past experiences can leave a lasting impact on the body and mind. I prioritize your sense of safety and control, ensuring we work at a pace that never feels overwhelming.
