About me
Get started with a free consultation with a HCPC registered clinical psychologist today. Are you struggling with anxiety, depression, or other mental health challenges? Are you experiencing relationship challenges? You don't have to face these challenges alone. As a clinical psychologist, I am here to help you navigate through these difficult times and support you in achieving your goals.
I offer a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach to therapy. My goal is to create a safe and confidential space where you can feel comfortable sharing your thoughts and feelings recognising this is often the trickiest part of accessing support.
During our sessions, we will work collaboratively to identify your goals and develop effective strategies to achieving them. I use evidence-based therapies such as cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), compassion-focussed therapy, EMDR and mindfulness-based interventions to help you overcome your challenges and improve your overall well-being.
I specialise in treating a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and more. Whether you're struggling with a specific issue or simply feeling overwhelmed, I am here to help.
I believe that therapy is not a one-size-fits-all approach, and I tailor my approach to meet your unique needs and goals. My ultimate goal is to empower you to live a fulfilling and meaningful life whatever that means for you.
If you're ready to take the first step, please reach out to me to schedule a free consultation. I look forward to working with you.
Training, qualifications & experience
Experience:
I have spent over a decade studying Psychology and currently work with adults experiencing a wide range of psychological and emotional difficulties in the NHS and in private practice. I have worked with people who have experienced difficulties such as: anxiety, OCD, low self-esteem, panic attacks, depression, relationship difficulties and many more.
Perhaps the most salient of groups I have worked with are healthcare workers and Older Adults. In my experience, these two groups shared a very real experience. Many of them believed they did not deserve help or did not actively seek it because they believed somebody had it worse than them. I know this is a feeling a lot of people who are seeking support privately may feel - I am writing here to acknowledge that first and foremost, you have the very basic right to be human, to feel human and to access support when you feel ready to receive it.
Qualifications:
- Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (D. Clin. Psy) - Lancaster University

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
