About me

Do you always feel anxious or overwhelmed? Are you feeling unheard or misunderstood? Are you repeating negative patterns in your life but do not know why? Do you feel like you don’t know who you are or what you want any more?

I offer a confidential, non-judgmental, safe therapeutic environment to work through the curve balls that life can sometimes throw at us, leaving us struggling to move forward. We will work together to explore and process the challenges and emotions you are facing all at your own pace in your own time.

I am passionate about supporting people to help make sense of their lives, relationships and understanding who they are. I work with the aim to promote self - reflections, kindness to self and empower you. Working together we can aim to identify the blocks that prevent you from being who you desire to be.

I am compassionate and empathic to your struggles and understand what it is like to need help, I work with a variety of issues including self-esteem, anxiety, depression, relationship problems, stress, work-related issues, addictions, and teen struggles.

I work in an integrative and flexible approach understanding the world we live in today can be stressful, ever changing that can challenge our everyday wellbeing. In our sessions together you can bring something new each week or we can work on past experiences. I will offer a genuine, empathic, non-judgemental and confidential approach to our sessions. In this safe and supportive environment, I aim to help clients create healthy coping skills so clients can feel empowered to be their true selves.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
