Ryan Pollard MBACP

My practice is geared toward offering you a calm and attentive environment which allows the opportunity to explore your own thoughts and emotions. Giving you the space and time needed to fully contemplate aspects of your life that you may be finding difficult to manage or are struggling to overcome. The therapeutic process is designed to enable you to take ownership of the way you perceive the world, emotionally and intellectually, in order to discover and create new ways to approach situations with confidence and a greater sense of control.
My therapeutic approach is mainly Relational, in that I believe the therapeutic process to be a joint, collaborative effort, between you the client and myself. This 'togetherness' is key in helping to increase emotional well-being. The techniques learnt will help you to strengthen and maintain your core belief system, which you will then have the knowledge and self-confidence to apply to aspects of your life, if that be within relationships with others or the relationship you have with yourself.
I also call on the Person-Centred approach which puts you at the heart of the process. Anything you wish to discuss, will be given my utmost respect and consideration, with the intent to facilitate healthy change.
