About me
You may know what you want to change, but not how to change it.
Lasting change requires more than self-awareness - it only happens if we identify the specific factors maintaining the problem.
Together, we identify what is keeping you stuck, use a clear psychological framework to understand how these factors interact, and apply evidence-based strategies to produce meaningful change.
Less talking for the sake of it. More doing.
Training, qualifications & experience
What qualifies me to help you?
From high-secure mental health hospitals to working as a mental health advisor for the University of Cambridge, my clinical experience spans a wide range of settings and individuals.
The UK private therapy sector is poorly regulated, making it difficult to distinguish between evidence-based practitioners and 'having a chat'.
I am an accredited member of the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapy (BABCP), a standard that reflects extensive postgraduate training and supervised clinical practice.
I have worked across NHS specialist services, higher education, and private practice with individuals operating under very different levels of responsibility and public scrutiny. This has included people in senior leadership, professional sport, and public-facing roles, as well as those managing significant personal and social adversity.
All of my work is conducted with the highest standard of discretion and confidentiality in line with my professional and ethical guidelines.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The BABCP is the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the UK. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the practice, theory or development of CBT. BABCP also provides accreditation for CBT therapists. BABCP accredited members adhere to the Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in the Practice of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, and are willing to be scrutinised in this adherence as required.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
