You may be finding life tough, finding it hard to put your finger on one particular issue that’s causing distress. General feelings of sadness and low self-esteem may be making it difficult to see who you truly are.
Your sense of purpose may be ebbing, or indeed gone altogether. Instead, there may be a constant, nagging feeling of wishing things were different. But not knowing what that different looks or feels like. Whether or not it even exists.
Do you feel that your voice is being smothered by work pressures, or your personal aims are being crushed by work anxiety?
I have a particular understanding of the pressures that come from within the educational setting. Are you a teacher professional who is experiencing burn out? Maybe you are part of the all important support staff and are wondering where you fit within a job role which is forever dynamically changing? As a learner, you may be feeling overwhelmed by the volume of course work, unsure of how to manage the emotional pressures.
My scope includes additional training and understanding around the LGBTQ+ community. Not only those directly within the community, but also people within their family. Using the wider term, GSRD (Gender Sexual Relationship Diversity) is an area which is hugely important to me. I would love to be part of your journey.
I would really embrace the opportunity to work with you. To discover together who you are, allowing that positive sense of self to grow. Together we can explore what purpose means to you, what it might look like, what it could look like.
Currently, I am working online, by telephone and face to face. I can offer a flexibility that fits well with your busy lifestyle. My aim is to support, not add additional pressure. We will work together to create a counselling package that works for you, that fits in with your current schedule rather than disrupting it. I work with young adults 16+ and adults.
You are very welcome to book an initial 20-minute appointment, either by telephone or online, to see if we are a good fit.
Call or email me and I will respond within 48 hours.

I am also qualified within the field of telephone counselling and would love to explore this possibility with you. It may be that telephone counselling fits in with your lifestyle logistically. Sometimes it can be used as an addition to face to face counselling, allowing flexibility for those times when meeting in person is just not possible, for whatever reason.
