Ruth Jenkins MNCS (Accred) Dip. Couns
You may be finding life tough, finding it hard to put your finger on one particular issue that’s causing distress. A general feeling of depression and low self-esteem may be making it difficult to see who you truly are.
Your sense of purpose may be ebbing, or indeed gone altogether. Instead, there may be a constant, nagging feeling of wishing things were different. But not knowing what that different looks or feels like. Whether or not it even exists.
Being part of a specific community could be causing you additional stress. Do you work in education? Do you have a link to education via someone else in your household? Do you feel that your voice is being smothered by work pressures, or your personal aims are being crushed by work anxiety?
I would embrace the opportunity to work with you. To discover together who you are, allowing that positive sense of self to grow. Together we can explore what purpose means to you, what it might look like, what it could look like.
I can work online or by telephone, to work with your busy schedule. If you have a houseful, all homeworking and home schooling, we can even schedule your counselling session during your daily walk. My aim is to support, not add additional pressure. We will work together to create a counselling package that works for you, that fits in with your current schedule rather than disrupting it.
You are very welcome to book an initial 20-minute appointment, either by telephone or online, to see if we are a good fit.
Call or email me and I will respond within 48 hours.
