About me
You've taken the first, often daunting step - now I'll make the next ones easier. Whether as an individual or as part of a couple.
Saying things out loud can be a relief. When we talk, you'll notice how much lighter you feel to share what is on your mind and have someone reflect back your experience with compassion.
Every therapeutic relationship is unique, but my clients often tell me they feel heard, empowered more able to face life's challenges. Whether you are struggling with personal difficulties, work challenges, or a sense of stuckness therapy provides time and space to unpack your situations and emotions and move toward lasting change.
How I Work
I tailor therapy to your individual needs, but some things remain constant:
🟢 You’ll gain insight into your thought patterns, emotions, and behaviours—both helpful and unhelpful.
🟢 With two minds working together, we’ll untangle old patterns and move toward self-compassion.
🟢 Things that feel hard to say in everyday life are welcome here—we’ll work through them together, gaining new perspectives.
About Me
My background spans FTSE 100's, small biotech's and the arts giving me a deep understanding of workplace dynamics and the broader influences of work, gender, culture, family dynamics, and society. I have a special interest gender politics and how these inform the lives of men, women and non-binary individuals. I also work with ADHD - particularly supporting those who live with, love or work alongside neurodivergent people.
If you are feeling weighed down by emotional challenges, therapy offers an invaluable time and space to unpack and grapple with these difficulties. When you feel deeply listened to you can explore your experiences more freely, leading to real change, greater balance and a more meaningful life.
If this resonates, lets talk. I offer a 20 minute free consultation. You don't have to navigate this alone.
Therapy is a space to explore your present experiences, understand how they connect to past, and move toward the current and future experience you want.
Whatever you are struggling with I provide a space to explore it. I have experience of working with a range of issues, including:
🟢Stress, Anxiety, Burnout, Depression – Supporting high achievers and those struggling with self-esteem.
🟢ADD/ADHD – Individuals with ADHD and their partners.
🟢Relationships – Navigating the complexities of relationships with yourself and others, including friendships, family, colleagues and partners.
🟢Life Stages and Events – Understanding how past and present experiences shape your thoughts, emotions and behaviours. Rites of passage - from childhood to adulthood - play, and continue to play, a powerful role in shaping identity and influencing our perspectives.
I offer short-term therapy as well as long-term or open-ended sessions for individuals.
Something about my experience
I have worked with the low cost counselling organisations such as MCPS, EACS and CAPE which aims to bridge the gap between NHS Mental Health services and the community for people with enduring mental health challenges.
Before becoming a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor I held senior executive roles in FTSE 100 organisations. This background gives me a deep understanding of the pressures of high performance environments and the impact of organisational cultures on teams and individuals.
Reaching out takes courageous and I want to make that first step as easy as possible for you
I offer a free initial consultation by phone or a paid for one-off session, giving you an opportunity to ask any questions and for us both to see if we are a good fit, you can choose which feels right for you.
In your first session we will focus on getting to know each other. You'll have space to share what's on your mind, what you'd like to work on and your hopes and expectations for therapy.
I offer sessions in different formats to suit your needs:
🟢 In-person – Held in a private, quiet space where we can talk comfortably.
🟢 Online & Telephone – For those who prefer sessions from home, I offer video and phone consultations.
There is no pressure to continue after the first session - some clients choose short term support, while others decide o work together for longer.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
