About me
During a period of change, you might be struggling to find your identity within your new situation. You might be in a state of overwhelm, stuck in a mental paralysis or balancing grief whilst trying to embrace positives within the change. Maybe you are contemplating a significant decision but aren’t sure what form it will take.
- I have a particular interest in working with women and non-binary people who are experiencing life transitions, both major and minor, such as:
- All aspects of motherhood - including pregnancy, exploring identity as a mother, single parenting, infertility, choosing whether to become a mother and step parenting.
- Relationship problems, breakdown and divorce.
- Career change or wanting to find a path which feels more aligned to your values.
- Feeling a sense of stuckness and needing something to shift.
I am a Humanistic therapist. I see therapy as a creative, dynamic and transformative space where we can work together to explore your patterns of relating, develop an understanding of yourself and find power within the circumstances that we cannot change. I draw on my knowledge and previous work experience of philosophy, psychology and mental health to take a holistic approach with you at the centre. I work non-judgementally in a neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ affirming way.
I am a member of BACP and adhere to their ethical guidelines, attend regular supervision and develop my practice with frequent further training.
If you are interested in working together, reach out for a free 30-minute introductory call, either over the phone or online. Here, we can talk about what you want from therapy, and you can ask any questions you may have.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
