About me
Hi, I'm Roxy, a dedicated and compassionate integrative counsellor registered with BACP. Currently I have in-person availability on a Saturday morning or online sessions some evenings. Please get in contact for further info.
I am committed to supporting individuals on their journey towards improved mental health and well-being. I have a deep understanding of the challenges that life can present and offer a safe and empathetic space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and concerns.
I believe that integrative therapy can have great benefits – combining various therapeutic approaches to create a tailored and holistic experience for each client. This personalised approach allows me to adapt to the unique needs and preferences of those I work with, ensuring that the therapeutic process is both effective and meaningful.
Whether you’re dealing with mild or moderate mental health concerns, I am here to provide the guidance and support you need to navigate through challenging times. My approach is non-judgmental, and I am committed to fostering a safe and inclusive environment where individuals can openly express themselves.
Located in the vibrant city of Edinburgh, I offer in-person appointments that provide a comfortable and confidential setting for clients to engage in therapeutic discussions. In-person sessions are held at The Southside Centre, 86 Causewayside, Edinburgh, EH9 1PY.
Online sessions are conducted via doxy.me – a safe online video platform.
How do we begin?
Step 1 begins with a free 15-minute introductory call, easily scheduled via email, allowing us to get acquainted and discuss your needs.
In Step 2, we'll arrange an initial session, which costs just £30, providing an opportunity to determine if we're a good fit for each other. This session allows you to share your background, ask questions, and set the stage for our therapeutic journey together.
Step 3 involves our weekly therapy sessions, priced at £40 for online appointments and £50 for in-person sessions, giving you flexibility in choosing what works best for you. These sessions often occur in blocks of 6 (this is flexible), empowering us to work collaboratively towards achieving the goals we've established together.
I'm committed to providing a supportive, confidential, and empathetic space to guide you through your transformative process, and I'm excited to embark on this journey with you.
Training, qualifications & experience
BSc(Hons) degree in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy and also engage in regular CPD learning on various mental health topics. I am also a registered member of The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
I have provided counselling in a community counselling centre setting and have worked with adults across different ages and genders. From students who are facing entering the world of work to people facing overwhelm from the demands of work, family and life. I often find that using creative exercises can help clients to process events, emotions or concepts in a way that helps them move forward. I equally enjoy using traditional talk therapy with clients who prefer this approach.
I am truly passionate about helping individuals discover their inner strengths, overcome obstacles, and create positive changes in their lives. If you're seeking a compassionate and experienced integrative counsellor who can support you in your journey towards improved mental health, I would be honoured to work with you, either in-person here in Edinburgh or through online sessions. Together, we can work towards achieving a healthier and more fulfilling life.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
