About me
Hi, thank you for taking the time to read my profile.
I'm Rowanne (pronounced Row‑anne), lover of cats, creativity and all things human connection. My therapy practice is Phoenix Rose Therapy.
I'm someone who believes deeply in the power of warmth, creativity and the stories we carry. I’ve always been drawn to the strength it takes for people to share their experiences, and it’s a privilege to hold space for that.
I offer a grounded, compassionate and creative therapeutic space for adults, children and young people.
My background includes a Master’s in Counselling and Psychotherapy, a postgraduate qualification in Drama as Healing, and training in creative therapy, psychology and drama. This blend allows me to offer different ways of working, from traditional talking therapy to creative approaches, or a gentle mix of both.
My approach is person‑centred and trauma‑informed, meaning we go at your pace and shape the sessions together.
Some people prefer reflective conversation; others feel more at ease using imagery, metaphor or expressive techniques. There’s no right or wrong way to use therapy, the space is yours to explore safely, authentically and without pressure.
I’ve supported people through a wide range of experiences, including anxiety, depression, trauma, bereavement, addiction, domestic abuse, neurodiversity and offending behaviours.
No matter what brings you here, my aim is to offer a space where you feel heard, understood and supported as you move toward clarity, connection and healing.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out. I have current availability for online sessions on evenings and weekends.
