About me
Hello, and a warm welcome.
I look forward to supporting you, using my years of experience working with a large variety of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, and ADHD. In my private practice, I have a particular focus on supporting those living with Chronic Illness. Chronic Illness is something very close to my heart, as I have personal experience navigating the emotional and physical challenges that can come with long-term health conditions. I understand how isolating, complex, confusing and overwhelming it can sometimes feel, and I’m here to support you in a way that honours your unique experience. Going through disability and Chronic Health problems is filled with uncertainty, and seldom do people really feel prepared for all of the stages of change that come. The support I hope to offer you will help with the massive ongoing transitions you might find, both emotionally and practically, when your health journey changes. My practice is open to everyone, whether you are chronically ill, or struggling with a mental health problem which is not related to health difficulties. I work with adults only, and recommend seeking specialist services in the cases of complex trauma or very severe mental health difficulties.
I'm a person-centred counsellor, which means I believe that you are the expert in your own life. My role is to walk alongside you, offering empathy, insights, acceptance, and a safe, non-judgemental space, where you can be truly heard. Together, we can explore whatever you're carrying - whether it feels big or small.
My practice is offered entirely online and through the telephone, offering flexibility, accessibility for my disabled clients, and greater comfort for all. Wherever you are, you don’t have to go through this alone. Beyond counselling, you can also find free resources or support on my website and on my upcoming YouTube channel, Unwinding Minds, to support you on your journey.
