About me

ONLINE COUNSELLING: INDIVIDUAL, COUPLES AND FAMILY.

Are you feeling anxious, depressed, stuck in your personal or professional life? Or are you experiencing domestic abuse, a profound loss, or a traumatic event that causes you sleeplessness? Maybe you're going through relationship, spiritual, identity, or cultural issues, or you are struggling with feelings of shame, guilt, or looking for healing due to unresolved past hurt and disappointment?

If your answer is yes to any of the above, I have gone through some of these journeys and I understood how it felt to be trapped and to be set free. With my personal and professional experience, I am able to work successfully with clients going through different advert life events with empathy and respect.

We will collaboratively work together to gain the confidence and freedom you need in order to live a happy and fulfilling life. I value individual differences and I believe that all clients are unique; as a result, I work with clients to draw on a suitable approach from my integrative model, to identify any restraining forces that could hinder their potential. This is achieved in a safe, open, and confidential space in order to facilitate positive change in individuals.

I offer session remotely by Skype, or Zoom for now.

You can contact me by phone or email to arrange your free initial online session to discuss how we could work together. I will endeavour to call you back at my earliest opportunity in case I miss your call.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
