About me
I am a Gestalt counsellor, offering a compassionate, client-centred approach to support individuals seeking personal growth, emotional healing, and deeper self-awareness. My practice is grounded in the principles of Gestalt therapy, which emphasises the present moment, the therapeutic relationship, and the integration of mind, body, and emotions. I work collaboratively with clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and patterns of behaviour, helping them to develop insight and make meaningful changes in their lives. Whether you are facing challenges related to anxiety, relationships, grief, or personal transitions, I provide a safe and supportive space to explore your experience and reconnect with your inner resources.
In my counselling work, I take a creative and flexible approach, drawing on a range of expressive methods to support clients in exploring their experiences. This might include working with imagery, movement, metaphor, or other creative techniques that help bring deeper awareness and insight. I believe that creativity can open up new perspectives and support meaningful change in a way that words alone sometimes cannot. In some instances, I use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) tools alongside this approach.
I also offer walk and talk therapy, which combines the benefits of counselling with the calming and grounding effects of being outdoors, helping clients feel more at ease and connected to themselves and their surroundings.
