About me

I am currently open for new clients and Supervisees, as of March 2025.

During these unprecedented times, it's more important than ever to be mindful of our mental health and well-being. I guess my USP is that I have 30 years of prior experience working at Director level in Investment banking, so if you value some real world experience, we might be a good match. I am offering face to face or zoom sessions with immediate availability. My clients tend to be professionals, coming with a broad diversity of issues. We'll work together to find a way forward that makes sense for you.

I also have a special interest in working with clients dealing with long term health conditions, through my own lived experience.

Following a free consultation, we'll identify the issues that are troubling you and agree on a plan for finding a way to move forward that is bespoke to you. We will explore the issues that may be holding you back from living the life that you really want, to facilitate real change for you.
My curiosity in people and nurturing nature, developed over a 30 year career in industry, can help us to discover what it is that is preventing you from enjoying the happiness you deserve and find a way forward. I believe that real change is possible, as a wise man once said "this too shall pass."

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
