About me
Are you finding yourself struggling with anxiety, relationship difficulties, or recurring emotional patterns that feel hard to change? You may be aware that something isn’t quite right, but unsure why these patterns persist.
I am a UKCP-registered Cognitive Analytic Psychotherapist and accredited supervisor with over 24 years of clinical experience. Alongside my private practice, I work within specialist NHS services in eating disorders and adult psychology in London.
I specialise in helping people understand how early experiences and relationships shape current patterns of thinking, feeling, and relating to others. This can be particularly helpful if you notice repeating difficulties in relationships, low self-esteem, or feeling stuck in unhelpful cycles.
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT). We may begin by exploring your personal history, sometimes using tools such as a genogram, to develop a shared understanding of your experiences and patterns. From there, we work towards meaningful and lasting change.
I work with a range of psychological and emotional difficulties, including anxiety, relational difficulties, and complex emotional presentations. I also have significant experience working with eating disorders.
I offer both time-limited and open-ended therapy, depending on your individual needs.

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The Association for Cognitive Analytic Therapy (ACAT) is a registered charity. They welcome members of the public, health professionals, ACAT accredited professionals, and anyone interested in finding out more about CAT. They list CAT practitioners.
The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
