About me

About me
I’m a BABCP-accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist with over 10 years’ experience supporting adults experiencing anxiety, low mood, low self-esteem, stress and feeling overwhelmed.

I have a particular interest in women’s mental health, including the emotional impact of PMOS/PCOS, Endometriosis, PMDD, perimenopause and other hormone-related changes. These experiences can affect far more than physical health. You may be struggling with anxiety, mood changes, grief, irritability, reduced confidence or a sense that you no longer feel like yourself. It can feel especially isolating when the people around you do not fully understand what you are going through.

My approach is warm, compassionate and structured. Therapy is not only a space to talk and feel heard. We will work together to understand what may be maintaining your difficulties, break unhelpful patterns and develop practical tools to help you feel more confident and in control.

Alongside CBT, I draw upon trauma-informed approaches and am undertaking further training in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). This can help us understand how difficult or distressing past experiences may continue to affect your emotions, beliefs, relationships and responses in the present.

Whether you are feeling anxious, emotionally exhausted, stuck in repetitive patterns or struggling with your self-worth, I aim to provide a supportive and non-judgemental space where you can reflect, make meaningful changes and move forward at a manageable pace.

Sessions are available online across the UK, with in-person therapy also available in Birmingham. Please visit my website for further information or to arrange a free introductory call.
