About me
Pritesh Joshi is an experienced accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist (CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) Practitioner, registered with the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).
With over 10 years of experience as a Psychotherapist, and 18 years of experience working in mental health, he has supported adults facing a wide range of mental health challenges.
This can range from anxiety and depression to burnout, low self-esteem, and complex trauma. His work has included several years within the NHS and now in private practice, where he helps people who feel stuck, overwhelmed or held back by deep-rooted patterns.
Pritesh specialises in using proven methods like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). This means your work together is individually tailored to you - your goals, your pace, and your personal history.
He is especially experienced in working with people who have tried therapy before but still feel stuck, as well as those living with the hidden pressures of perfectionism, high achievement, or childhood trauma that still shapes how they feel today.
The approach he offers aims to create a warm, supportive space where change becomes possible - so you can move from simply surviving to truly living.
