About me
Hi, my name is Peter. I am a professional accredited registrant with the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society. I have specialisms in couples' therapy, as well as working with individuals, particularly around family issues, relationship issues, separation, divorce and bereavement. My training is integrative, this means I may incorporate different counselling approaches such as CBT, humanistic and psychodynamic.
I have a part time practice as I also work at a senior level within local authority children, young people and family services. I'm skilled at working with adults and also young people aged over 11.
I work with clients online, on the phone and face to face (face to face in Abergavenny on Thursday evenings at Little Green Refills).

Additional information
I charge either £40 or £45, depending on your circumstances.. My guide price is £45. I charge £40 for students, young people aged under 25, people on means-tested benefits and O.A.P.s. We can discuss costs in my free (up to) 30 minute discussion. These costs are for both counselling or supervision. This cost is for all the ways I work, face to face, on-line or phone. My costs reflect my professional qualifications, any background research, insurance, membership to my professional body and room hire.
With couples' therapy. I charge an initial £45 per hour for 6.5 hours = £270. This is a set format that includes two individual sessions each, one ninety minute couple's session together and 30 minutes to type up group agreements. Sometimes couples choose to have a further together sessions after and that would cost £45 for one hour together sessions.
