About me

I am an experienced therapist offering one-to-one integrative counselling and attachment-informed EMDR, available both in person and online. I also facilitate in-person Pesso Boyden System Psychotherapy (PBSP) groups. I offer short-term or longer-term therapy depending on your needs.

Many people reach a point where life feels difficult, overwhelming, or simply not how they hoped it would be. You may be carrying something unresolved from the past, or perhaps a recent event has left you feeling lost, anxious, or stuck. Speaking with a skilled therapist can help you make sense of your experiences, relieve some of the burden, and discover new ways forward.

Choosing a therapist is an important and personal decision. To help you feel confident about taking that next step, I offer a free short telephone consultation so we can get a sense of whether working together feels like a good fit.

My approach is warm, grounded, and compassionate. As an integrative therapist, I draw on a range of therapeutic models so our work can be tailored to suit you as an individual. I aim to meet you exactly where you are and support you in exploring whatever may be holding you back from living the life you want to live. This might include reconnecting with your feelings, understanding long-held beliefs or patterns, and gently working with echoes from the past that continue to impact your present.

Whether you are seeking support for a specific issue or wanting a space to better understand yourself, I am here to help you navigate that journey at your own pace.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
