About me

I am an experienced UKCP registered and accredited Gestalt psychotherapeutic counsellor and EMDR therapist working with individuals and intimate couples.
Whether you are seeking growth and development for yourself, a better life as a couple, or coping strategies and insights in your life and/or your relationships, I can help you to fulfil your potential, see possibilities and connect with your significant others in a more satisfying way. 

I am respectful, direct, matter-of-fact and perceptive. I can also be practical and concrete and offer many useful tools and practices in emotional, intellectual, physical and spiritual dimensions.

If you are interested in working together, my practice is based in the southside of Edinburgh, Causewayside, and I also offer therapy online.

I am a UKCP registered and accredited Gestalt psychotherapeutic counsellor with the following memberships, qualifications and experience:

  • Diploma in Gestalt Psychotherapy from Edinburgh Gestalt Institute
  • Certified Mindfulness teacher 
  • Certified in Contemporary Trauma Practice

  • Broad experience of working in the field of mental health (Neurodiversity, Schizofrenia, developmental trauma, sexual abuse) in the third sector in Scotland and through the public projects funded by NHS

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.

As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.

UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Further information

My main three approaches are: Gestalt, EMDR and Mindfulness.

I can work flexibly using various approaches or strictly with one. My couples work is very relational mostly rooted in Gestalt therapy, but also in EFT (Emotional Focused Therapy).

I work with individuals and couples in person and online. My online fees are reduced due to working from home.
