I am UKCP accredited Gestalt psychotherapeutic counsellor. I have completed a 4-year training in Gestalt psychotherapy in Edinburgh Gestalt Institute between 2013-2017. I work with individuals and can provide a safe and respectful environement to explore life themes you might be interested in, including early trauma, depression, anxiety and many more.
Contemporary Gestalt therapy that I offer can provide a lively exploration of feelings and behavioural patterns through embodied experiments that are co-created between a client and a therapist. I work very creatively including movement, breath and posture and I might use art materials as well as other props to help with therapy process.
My approach is dialogic and relational where the emphasis is on the present moment encounter with another human being and my practice is informed by respect, confidentiality, and compassion. I regularly consult it with a qualified and accredited clinical supervisor. I am fully insured and as a member of GPTI and UKCP I subscribe to their codes of ethics.
I use elements of mindfulness in my practice, and I also offer 1:1 Mindfulness sessions and MBSR 8-week courses for wider public.
I love spending as much time as possible walking in the nature, hiking and running, and drinking freshly ground coffee when I pause.
