About me
Hi I'm Paul, an accredited counsellor offering support to anyone seeking better self-understanding, insight and clarity within their daily life as well as those facing profound life challenges such as loss, anxiety, trauma, depression, family and relationship problems. Through one-to-one sessions in person, online, and by telephone I offer short-term counselling specifically aimed at addressing any immediate crisis or overload as well as longer term and in-depth therapy to explore more complex and persistent issues. My warm and fully engaged approach creates opportunity for relief, balance and self-acceptance. I will listen to you carefully and we will work together at a pace that is comfortable for you. As a 'humanist' counsellor my work is founded on the belief that you have the capacity within you to heal and to change, to move towards and to achieve your full potential. As a fellow traveller, my work also draws on my broad lived experience. With complete confidentiality you can speak freely and in safety.

In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
