About me
You might be feeling anxious, low, overwhelmed, or stuck, or simply at a point where you want to understand yourself better. On the outside, things might look fine, but underneath it can feel very different.
I offer a calm, confidential online space where you can talk openly about whatever is going on in your life. Whether you’re dealing with loss, relationship difficulties, identity questions or significant life changes, therapy can help you begin to make sense of things and feel more in control.
My approach is warm, grounded and collaborative. I won’t sit in silence or hide behind jargon. I’ll work alongside you to help you understand your thoughts and feelings, and support you in finding a way forward that feels right for you.
I am a BACP-accredited therapist offering online counselling for adults across the UK and internationally.
Alongside my private practice, I have a senior background in health and social care, including leading counselling and support services. This means I bring both clinical experience and a strong understanding of how life’s challenges can impact us in real, practical ways.
I offer an initial assessment session, followed by 50-minute therapy sessions. We can work short-term on a specific issue or longer-term if you’re looking for deeper exploration.
You don’t need to be in crisis to come to therapy. Sometimes it’s simply about having the space to pause, reflect and be heard.
If you’re unsure, you’re very welcome to get in touch for a brief, no-obligation conversation to see if I’m the right fit for you.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a BACP-accredited therapist (since 2013) with a professional background in counselling, psychotherapy and senior leadership within health and social care.
My core training is in integrative counselling and psychotherapy, and I work within the BACP Ethical Framework, ensuring a safe, ethical and confidential service. Alongside my clinical work, I have over 20 years’ experience supporting individuals with a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties, including anxiety, depression, bereavement, relationship issues and identity-related concerns.
Earlier in my career, I worked extensively in sexual health and LGBTQ+ services, including helping to establish Ireland’s first national LGBT helpline. This experience continues to inform my inclusive, non-judgemental approach to therapy.
I am committed to ongoing professional development and regularly undertake further training and supervision to support my practice and ensure I am working safely and effectively with clients.
Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

I have over 15 years’ experience working in sexual health services, supporting individuals from a wide range of backgrounds. This includes working with people navigating diagnoses such as herpes, HIV and other sexually transmitted infections, and the emotional impact these can have, including stigma, anxiety, relationships and identity.
I also have significant experience working within hospice care, supporting individuals and families facing life-limiting illness, grief, bereavement and end-of-life concerns.
