About me

Psychotherapy is a collaborative process aimed at tending to the psyche in whatever way may be indicated. For many people, this often means addressing personal challenges.

I am offering a reliable and confidential service that would be tailored to your individual needs. Whatever your ethnicity, cultural and social background, beliefs, or sexuality, you are welcome.

We would start with an initial consultation to become acquainted, explore your situation and expectations, and address any preliminary questions that you may have. I find that meeting in person is most effective.

Should we decide to work together we would arrange to meet regularly at a frequency of between once and five times a week, depending what feels right for you, and our mutual availability, for up to 50 minutes a session.

Training, qualifications & experience

  • My first training was with the Guild of Analytical Psychologists (GAP), of which I am a senior member.
  • I am also a member of the International Association for Analytical Psychology (IAAP) and registered with the UKCP.
  • I have been working psychotherapeutically continuously since 2008 and am in frequent regular supervision with other experienced colleagues.
  • I have participated and continue to participate in relevant courses, seminars, events and conferences.

UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP)

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.

As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.

UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
