About me

This isn't the life you envisioned for yourself.

Somewhere along the way, life became about getting through each day rather than truly living it.

From the outside, everything appears fine. You manage. You keep going. You meet expectations, carry responsibilities, and take care of the people around you. Most people would never guess how much you're holding inside.

Yet beneath the surface, something feels different.

Perhaps anxiety has become your constant companion. Maybe you feel overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or disconnected from the woman you once were. You know there's much to be grateful for, yet gratitude alone doesn't bring you peace. Life looks good on paper, but something feels out of alignment, and you can't quite explain why.

Maybe you've spent so long being who everyone else needed you to be that you've forgotten what you need. Or perhaps there's simply a quiet knowing that life was meant to feel deeper, lighter, more meaningful than this.

If these words resonate, you're not alone.

I work with women who are ready to understand themselves more deeply, break free from old emotional patterns, and reconnect with who they are beneath the expectations, responsibilities, fear, and self-doubt that have quietly shaped their lives.

Together we'll explore what's happening in your life with curiosity rather than criticism. We'll gently uncover the beliefs and experiences that continue to influence how you think, feel, and relate to yourself and others. As these patterns become clearer, new possibilities begin to emerge, not because you're becoming someone different, but because you're remembering the woman you've always been beneath the layers you've learned to carry.

How I work
As an integrative counsellor with a psycho-spiritual approach, I bring together psychological understanding with a holistic awareness of the relationship between mind, body, emotions, and spirit.

I believe emotional distress rarely appears without reason. Often it reflects unprocessed experiences, limiting beliefs, or ways of coping that once protected us but no longer serve us. Therapy offers an opportunity to understand these patterns with compassion, allowing lasting change to grow from awareness rather than force.

Alongside therapeutic conversation, I may draw upon mindfulness, meditation, breath awareness, and gentle reflective practices to help you reconnect with yourself, regulate your nervous system, and develop a deeper relationship with your inner world. Everything we use is tailored to you, your needs, and your pace.

For those who feel naturally drawn to explore it, our work may also include conversations around spirituality, purpose, meaning, or consciousness. Whether you're navigating a spiritual awakening, questioning your direction in life, or sensing there's something deeper calling you, these experiences are welcomed without assumption or judgement. Spiritual exploration is always led by your own beliefs and preferences, never imposed.

I often support women experiencing:
-Anxiety, chronic stress, and emotional overwhelm
-Feeling lost, disconnected, or unsure who they are anymore
-Low self-esteem, self-doubt, and the feeling of never being enough
-People-pleasing, difficulty setting boundaries, and constantly putting others first
-Childhood emotional neglect and its lasting impact on adult relationships
-Relationship difficulties, trust, and intimacy
-Cultural identity, belonging, and intergenerational family expectations
-High sensitivity and feeling emotionally overloaded
-Grief, loss, and life transitions
-Spiritual questioning, awakening, or searching for greater meaning

I offer counselling in Birmingham and online across the UK, creating a warm and grounded space where every part of your experience is welcome.

Many of the women I work with tell me they feel they have spent years trying to become enough. My work isn't about helping you become someone new. It's about helping you reconnect with the person you have always been beneath the fear, conditioning, and expectations you've carried for so long.

If you're looking for a therapist who can hold both the psychological and the spiritual aspects of your experience with warmth, curiosity, and respect, I'd be delighted to meet you.

I offer a free 20 min introductory call, giving us the opportunity to talk about what brings you to therapy, answer any questions you may have, and see whether working together feels like the right fit.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
